Aamir Raoof Memon
Aamir Raoof Memon is a PhD Candidate at Institute of Health and Sport, Victoria University, Melbourne (Australia). He is Associate Professor at the Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women, Shaheed Benazirabad, Pakistan. He has background in physiotherapy and has completed a postgraduate diploma in biomedical ethics. Aamir has authored/coauthored over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is the Leader of the Working Group for Research Dissemination in the International Network of Time-Use Epidemiologists and Country Contact for Pakistan in Global Observatory for Physical Activity (GoPA!). In addition, Aamir is Associate Editor for British Journal of Sports Medicine, BMJ Open Sport & Exercise Medicine, and Editorial Board Member for a few journals. He was listed among the top 2% (ranked: 185,731 out of ~8.4 million) researchers in the world according to the “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” published on 4 October 2023. He has diverse research interests including 24-hour movement behaviours, research ethics, and ways to promote diversity and inclusivity of marginalised populations.
