Neritzel Albisua Kaperotxipi, PH.D.
Neritzel Albisua Kaperotxipi is a member of the Athlon cooperative, where she provides consultancy services on projects promoting physical activity and health. She currently lectures at Mondragon University, where her areas of focus are physical activity and educational innovation in the Primary Education programme, as well as teaching in the Secondary Education master’s programme. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Activity and Sports Science from the University of the Basque Country, as well as advanced qualifications in educational project management and innovation. She plays an active role in health initiatives, including the Basque Government’s Mugiment programme, and has collaborated on Jolashezi, a project by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa aimed at developing training resources for young children. She is also a member of the Spanish Network for Active and Healthy Childhood (REIAS). Her recent research and publications focus on physical activity and sleep among children and adolescents, with contributions to Global Matrix 4.0. She has authored over 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals since 2018, influencing policy and practice in educational and health-related contexts.

Mikel Bringas
Mikel is a sports manager for the Basque Government. He is in charge of the Mugiment project to create an active Basque society.

Mikel used to be a Basque pelota player, but now cycle touring is his passion. Don’t be surprised if one day you meet him riding his bike in your country.

Report Card Team

The Basque Government is partnering with Mondragon UniversityUniversity of Deusto and University of the Basque Country to participate in the Global Matrix project.

A team has been set up to create the Basque Country Report Card. Six researchers have been selected for their following attributes: #PertsonaAktiboak (active people), PhDs with experience in the physical activity field, their language skills (Basque, Spanish and English), women and men, and as you can see in their pictures all of them are parents.
