03 Dec AHKGA and SBRN develop a long-term partnership
We are pleased to announce that the AHKGA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Sedentary Behaviour Research Network (SBRN)! SBRN is an organization for researchers and health professionals which focuses specifically on the health impact of sedentary behaviour.
Led by Dr. Mark Tremblay, Dr. Travis Saunders and Joel Barnes, the mission of SBRN is to connect sedentary behaviour researchers and health professionals working in all fields of study, and to disseminate this research to the academic community and to the public at large.
This partnership will support the goals of both partners, for example, collaboration between SBRN and AHKGA should improve the AHKGA Report Cards by enhancing the grading of the Sedentary Behaviour indicator.
