On April 8th, 2022, Uruguay’s Report Card Leader Dr. Javier Brazo-Sayavera participated in the 11th Forum of Physical Activity and Health Sciences at the University of Guanajuato in Leon, Mexico. The title of his presentation was “The Report Card on Physical Activity Indicators in Children and Adolescents“.

Javier talked about the Global Matrix initiative and how Report Cards could be used for advocacy in physical activity promotion policies. Also, the global surveillance throughout the Report Cards was discussed and data from Mexico were analysed. As a take-home message, Javier invited the participants to join the movement to get kids active and healthy by increasing research on children and adolescents’ physical activity indicators.
