On May 28th, 2021, Chile’s Report Card leader Dr. Nicolas Aguilar-Farias made a presentation at the seminar, “Seminário Internacional Sobre Observatórios no Âmbito do Desporto e da Atividade Física,” organised by the Municipality of Almada, Portugal. His presentation was titled “From data to practice: experiences with Chile’s Report Card on Physical Activity“.

Nicolas presented some findings from the latest Chile’s Report Card and how they helped support the decision to develop surveillance tools and include social determinants of physical activity in programs. Nicolas also talked about his recent project related to physical activity opportunities for children and adolescents in the urban context of Temuco, Chile.
