AHKGA leaders, Dr. John Reilly (Scotland) and Dr. Mark Tremblay (Canada), wrote an article titled “Active commuting could make children’s return to school better for their health and the planet” that was just published in The Conversation. The authors use the recent COVID-19 outbreak and the climate change action by young people around the world as a springboard to promote increased active transportation, for a variety of personal and environmental health reasons.
