On November 28th, building on momentum from the Australian Report Card and Global Matrix 2.0 launch, Active Healthy Kids Australia (AHKA) and the University of South Australia in partnership with the National Heart Foundation of Australia held the inaugural Forum: A Time to Move. The Forum brought together professionals and academics from a broad cross-section of government, education, sport, industry and research sectors from around the country. Throughout the forum robust discussions were ignited with the focus on how we work together to get kids more active on a daily basis by developing the tools of Physical Literacy they need to be active for life. The forum also led to a commitment from the group to continue the conversation under the leadership of AHKA to unite all sectors moving forward.
